In March 2025, Peppercorn Hill welcomed the much-anticipated Route 524 bus service. This new service will take residents in Peppercorn Hill and surrounding areas to Donnybrook train station and Hume Anglican Grammar. 

Bus Route 524 will operate in a clockwise loop, providing daily services to and from Donnybrook Station starting in Hillview Drive, located within Peppercorn Hill.

At Donnybrook Station, passengers can transfer to the Route 501 shuttle for direct access to Craigieburn Station or board V/Line services (train and bus) to reach metro or regional areas.

There are plans to extend Route 524 to Kalkallo, increasing the public transport network in the Donnybrook-Kalkallo area.
