for Victoria\u2019s Sporting Club Grants Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are open for Victorian sporting clubs looking for funds to assist with volunteering, community programs, equipment, uniforms and travel.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The four categories of grants accepting applications:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>1: On-field Uniforms or Equipment<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li>Up to $1,000 to purchase on-field playing uniforms, participation equipment for competitors and active participants, safety, injury prevention and first-aid equipment.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>2: Volunteers and Officials<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li>Up to $5,000 to improve the skills and knowledge of volunteers, coaches and\/or officials, or introduce or enhance an ongoing volunteer program.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>3: Access and Engagement<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li>Up to $1,000 for tools and resources that improve accessibility, governance and strengthen engagement with members and participants, or<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Up to $4,000 to plan and deliver a new or modified sport or active recreation program.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>4: Competitors<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li>Up to $750 towards the costs of travel, accommodation and event registration fees for individual athletes selected to attend representative competition, selection trials or training camps.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Select the most appropriate category for your club, answer three questions in the application then double check you\u2019ve adhered to the assessment criteria and conditions.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Applications for this round of the Sporting Club Grants Program close on <strong>27 organisations\u2019 eligibility , then by:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li>Responses to the assessment questions<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Alignment with Sporting Club Grants Program objectives and 2024 \u201325 program priorities<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Eligible costs<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Adequacy of support documentation<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Comparison to other applications within the same category<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Availability of funding.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Keep in mind when applying<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>There are application questions and guidance application.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The guidelines also make it clear that identical answers, fully or partially, to another application are not eligible to
