Warm and dry conditions have assisted in keeping work moving on the ground.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Village Wetland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Construction of the Stage 190A Wetlands on the Corner of Ison Road and Maywood Road is progressing well.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li>Boardwalk infrastructure nears completion.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Once complete, the wetlands will feature perimeter walking paths and a 115-metre boardwalk.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Crews have started planting native fauna cultivated from local, indigenous spores.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Total investment: approximately $5.7 million<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>The Village Wetlands are expected open to the public in August 2025.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>A variety of native shrubs will be planted in the garden beds including Rock Correa, Black Anther Flax-lily, Spiny-Headed Mar-Rush, Woolly Tea Tree, Ruby Saltbush, Knobby Club-rush, Kangaroo Grass, Common Tussock and Austral Indigo. Along with a collection of Trees including Australian Blackwood, Black Wattle, Drooping Sheoak, Silver Banksia, River Red Gum and Australian Blackwood.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/dev.build.optimodesign.com.au\/manorlakes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/86cxy3aut20-20Manor20Lakes20Construction20Update20May20202520-20Still004_Stage20204.png\" style=\"width: 830px; height: 467px;\" \/>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Stage 204, Maywood Road<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Construction for this stage along Maywood Road has begun.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Workers are currently installing sewer pipes, and drainage work will start in the next few weeks. You can now explore 13 display homes from Carlisle Homes, Mimosa Homes, Central Propert, Metricon Homes, SOHO Living and Simonds- Dennis Family Homes.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>In the months ahead, expect to see:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li>Completion of the Boardwalk \u2013 decking and balustrade will be installed<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Jute Matting of planting areas, this helps to stop weeds growing and gives the plants a chance to establish. The matting is biodegradable and, depending on conditions, will completely break down in 10-16 months.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Installation of wetland planting and trees<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Installation of outdoor furniture such as seats and picnic setting.
