Put on your runners, Ashbury!
In great news for our local Surf Coast region, the Victorian Government has given the green light to a $350 million sport and tourism development in nearby in Modewarre.
It is anticipated that the project will create more than 1,000 jobs during construction and hundreds of full time jobs ongoing.
When completed, the development will include a high-performance sports training facility for elite athletes and world class sporting facilities, a sports performance hub and education precinct, four and five-star accommodation lodges, a 128-room residential hotel, a wellness centre, a childcare centre and a retail village.
It will also include a farmers’ market showcasing local produce and an organic farm providing home grown food for the onsite restaurants. We can’t wait! Visit: https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/jobs-and-tourism-boost-surf-coast for more information.
